BirrPay is a demonstration payments platform: sign up, hold a wallet balance, send and receive transfers, and watch every transaction in a full history. An admin dashboard gives oversight of accounts and activity.
The point of the project is the auth layer — built by hand, not with a library. Passwords are hashed with scrypt, sessions are HMAC-signed cookies that can't be tampered with, and sensitive endpoints are rate-limited against brute force.
